ABOUT US

Company IBT SPI, Ltd. (svetovanje, projektiranje in inženiring / ENG.: consulting, designing and engineering) was established under the reorganisation of the former company IBT (Investicijski Biroji Trbovlje / ENG.: Investment Bureaus Trbovlje), which played a big role on the entire territory of the former Yugoslavia and on the global market since 1957 with consulting, designing and engineering services. The former company IBT was also one of the co-founders of the Business Association RUDIS which was established in 1959 by companies IBT, Rudnik rjavega premoga Trbovlje – Hrastnik and Strojna tovarna Trbovlje. In a scope of cooperation with these companies and other former Yugoslavian companies we successfully carried out numerous projects on former Yugoslavian area and abroad - particularly in the field of mining, energy, industry military facilities and infrastructure. Company IBT provided complete design, supervision, consultancy and project management services in the field of architecture, civil and structure engineering, surveying, geology, geotechnology and mining, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and technology.

After the independence of the Republic of Slovenia the former IBT Company was reorganised into a new companies that are specialized in various professional sectors.
